New Life


When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we start a new life! It's in the Bible, Ephesians 4:21-24, NIV. "Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness"
It's in the Bible, II Corinthians 5:17, NKJV.  "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new"
New life is provided through Jesus' resurrection. It's in the Bible, Romans 6:5, TLB. "For you have become a part of Him, and so you died with Him, so to speak, when He died; and now you share His new life, and shall rise as He did."
New life brings freedom from the bondage of sin. It's in the Bible, Colossians 2:13-14, TLB. "You were dead in sins, and your sinful desires were not yet cut away. Then He gave you a share in the very life of Christ, for He forgave all your sins, and blotted out the charges proved against you, the list of His commandments, which you had not obeyed. He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ's cross."
